Bank Kitchen Assistant – Care Home

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Bank Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly care home team. This is a flexible, bank staff position covering shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Main Duties

• Assist with preparing and serving meals for residents
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Support the cook / chef as required
• Ensure residents receive meals in a respectful and friendly manner

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred but not essential
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of food hygiene standards
• Reliable, flexible, and caring attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
