Position Overview
We are looking for a female Support Worker to join our team in Bethersden, supporting one female who lives independently in her own home.
Eligibility
Due to the personal care needs of the person we support and the 1:1 support during the night, this position is only open to female applicants in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the person we support.
- Monitor their needs, offer reassurance, and provide care and support as required.
- Maintain a calm and supportive presence to create a peaceful environment where they feel secure and respected.
- Deliver personalised support in accordance with individual support plans, promoting independence and allowing choice and control over the way support is delivered.
- Provide care and support during the night, ensuring the person is safe and cared for.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a care or support role is an advantage, but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Genuine passion for supporting others, good communication skills, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to stay alert and responsive throughout the shift.
