Window Cleaner – Cambridge
The role is full time working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with working hours between 6:00am and 4:00pm (subject to client demands). A 30‑minute unpaid lunch break is provided per day. The successful candidate will join a team in Cambridge to provide window and specialist cleaning services to our clients in Cambridge and surrounding areas, following site specifications and ensuring risk assessments and health & safety procedures are adhered to.
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Show initiative when working.
- Flexible with working times to suit client demands.
Duties of the Role
- Carry out window and specialist cleaning as per specification at client premises.
- Ensure cleaning duties are completed in accordance with the specification and work schedules.
- Complete documentation for all work; all documentation must be signed off by the client and passed to the office for processing (PDAs are generally used).
- Perform ADHOC tasks as requested by line manager.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in a clean, orderly manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of the environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Follow safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH) and ensure team awareness.
- Other external cleaning such as pressure washing, gutter cleaning, etc.
- Complete jobs within times specified on e‑clean.
- Complete additional jobs as requested to meet client/business demands.
- Submit daily timesheets to team supervisor and weekly tracker report.
- Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition, reporting any damage to supervisor.
- Liaise with line manager regularly.
- Wear full company uniform, clean and presentable.
- Be ready for work at agreed pick‑up time.
Salary and Benefits
- Starting at £12.71 per hour.
- Monthly paid.

- Overtime available – paid at time and a half.
Training
- Range of in‑house training during employment.
Technical Competence
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competent in hand, reach and wash methods.
- Comfortable working from height; full training will be provided.
- Understanding of cleaning procedures, methods and customer standards.
- Completion of manual handling training.
- Prepared to undertake qualifications such as IPAF, CSCS and PASMA.
