About ourNursery Busy Bees at MidlothianNewbyres, is a 154 place nursery and offers two settings locatedjust across the road from one another; Newbyres Hall which welcomeschildren under 3 and St Paul’s for all children 3-5 yearsold.Situated in the centre of Gorebridge village, our nursery isvery convenient for families and our staff team who would like tomake use of the excellent public transport links, including the newBorders Railway which is just a minute’s walk away. There is also apublic, free-of-charge car park to the rear of thenursery.

Role Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Director in overseeing thedaily operations and maintaining educational standards.
- Assist in developing and delivering an engaging,high-quality curriculum tailored to the needs ofchildren.
- Ensure the centre complies with allrelevant regulatory requirements and maintains high safety andhealth standards.
- Provide leadership andmentorship to staff, ensuring a cohesive and motivatedteam.
- Lead efforts to enhance customersatisfaction by delivering exceptional service and promoting apositive centre experience for families.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling,payroll, and recruitment.
- Manage operationalrecords and support financial planning to ensuresustainability.
Required Qualifications:
IdealCandidate:
- An approved Level 3 qualification or abovein early years education.
- Experience within an early years setting,with leadership or supervisory experience ideally as either aAssistant Nursery Manager or Deputy NurseryManager.
- Proven trackrecord of ensuring educational excellence and curriculumdevelopment.
- Strongcommunication and organisational skills, with a focus onteamwork.
- Experience inmaintaining compliance with regulatory standards and health andsafety protocols.
