A well-established and reputable manufacturing organisation based in Lisburn is seeking a highly organised Production Scheduler to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating production planning and driving efficiency across a busy and fast-paced environment.
Your new role
As Production Scheduler, you will work closely with the Demand Manager and wider operational teams to plan, organise and control production schedules. You will ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while maintaining an efficient balance between demand and responsibilities:
Planning and managing production schedules for customer ordersGathering data on production times, material costs and resource requirementsProducing quotations from drawings and specificationsManaging customer orders and updating internal systemsMonitoring and adjusting production schedules as requiredCoordinating with engineering, purchasing and production teamsDetermining labour, materials and machinery requirementsMaintaining accurate production records and documentationUpdating Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing system dataProducing reports to monitor KPIs and daily performanceIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience in a production planning, scheduling or coordination roleStrong understanding of manufacturing processesExperience using MRP or manufacturing softwareExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilityHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
