Customer Service Administrator
Location: Belfast (On-site) Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (potential for flexibility to work 8:00am – 4:00pm) Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Belfast, seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will play a key part in ensuring a high standard of service for customers while supporting internal operations. If you’re organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a busy environment, this could be an excellent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound customer calls and delivering a professional and prompt service
- Managing queries via a shared email inbox and ensuring timely responses
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with internal departments including production, dispatch, and accounts
- Supporting the wider customer service and administration team as needed
About You
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (manufacturing/industrial background desirable)
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/CRM experience is advantageous
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a busy workload effectively
- Mut be based in Northern Ireland with full rights to work unrestricted in the United Kingdom
