Our Solutions and AI Lab Team is looking for experienced Machine Learning Engineers to join SAIL. We build state‑of‑the‑art AI solutions that help clients address challenges in energy, finance, and other industries.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Defining and implementing machine learning projects across the full lifecycle: data preparation, model engineering, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establishing and developing MLOps frameworks and standards for clients and embedding them within client infrastructure.
  • Working with clients to guide them through the journey, upskilling along the way and ensuring they can take ownership after project hand‑off.
  • Performing maturity assessments of clients’ cloud/AI environments and recommending improvements.
  • Building ML strategy blueprints and advising clients on technology options.
  • Translating business requirements into solutions, ensuring compliance with organisational strategy, policies, and standards, and helping define new policies where needed.
  • Identifying risks and mitigations for ML and data science programmes, and supporting transitions from on‑prem to modern cloud‑based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Working on ML model governance, including fairness, transparency, interpretability, and accountability.

Your Skills And Experience

  • Passion for solving problems in machine learning and a blend of technical delivery with core consulting skills.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and solid grounding in classical ML and deep learning, from applied statistics to transformer‑based models.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both with teams and clients.
  • Interest in building AI applications such as forecasting tools, image recognition, and LLM‑based chatbots.
  • Proven ability to build models and pipelines using Python with libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, from conception to production.
  • Ability to design, deploy and maintain ML solutions on modern frameworks, with exposure to version control, testing, MLOps, CI/CD and API design.
  • Hands‑on experience in one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) in a production environment, including ML platforms like AWS SageMaker or Azure Machine Learning Studio.
