Job Description:

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team based in Kilrea.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful company that is continuing to invest heavily in growth, technology, and expansion across the UK market. Operating across multiple sectors, the business has built a strong reputation for quality, customer service, and delivering tailored engineering solutions to a wide-ranging client base.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across NI and GB
  • Support and grow existing customer relationships
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Promote the company’s services and capabilities to prospective customers
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales records
  • Work closely with internal teams to support business growthResearch target markets and identify new opportunities

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience within sales or a customer-facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing and proactive attitude
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel across NI and GB
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or related sectors
  • Experience selling a service rather than a product
  • Degree or HNC in Business or a related discipline
