Business Development Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid, up to 2 days WFH). Salary: £30k‑£35k base, up to £55k OTE.

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a pipeline of potential clients, focusing on high‑value opportunities.
  • Using a consultative sales approach to deliver Spectre demos that address each client’s specific needs.
  • Proactively sourcing and nurturing leads to grow the pipeline and secure new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring a seamless handover and collaboration with the Customer Success team to increase client ROI and reduce churn.
  • Sharing best practices and innovative approaches to B2B sales to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Working closely with development teams to provide fresh ideas on product development.
  • Ensuring customers have a best‑in‑class experience at every opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Solid property industry experience or B2B sales experience selling to senior‑level decision‑makers via outbound channels.
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets through proactive prospecting and closing of deals.
  • Energy and enthusiasm that foster a positive and motivating atmosphere during outbound sessions.
  • Support the team with high levels of effort and activity, contributing to a strong team dynamic.
  • Share ideas and approaches to improve team effectiveness and refine sales practices as we grow.
  • Demonstrate reliability, maturity and professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.

Compensation

Basic salary up to £35,000 (dependent on experience) plus uncapped commission. Realistic first‑year OTE is £55,000.
