Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all start-up checks and ensure the production line is set up efficiently and ready for operation
- Communicate job priorities clearly to the team, keeping them updated on any changes
- Ensure the correct product and materials are used, with all packaging and labels quality-checked before production
- Train, support, and supervise packers, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and performance
- Monitor production progress, regularly reviewing the minus sheet and updating job status in line with SOPs
- Manage stock effectively by ordering stock as required, ensuring all items are QC-approved prior to use
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly, ensuring lines are cleaned and packaging is returned at the end of each job
