Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver sourcing initiatives across a range of indirect procurement categories, ensuring alignment with site and global procurement strategies.
  • Contribute to supplier consolidation activities and the implementation of service level agreements (SLAs) and performance frameworks.
  • Lead or support cross‑functional savings programs and maintain visibility of savings delivery through structured tracking.
  • Support supplier onboarding, transition planning, and execution of cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage and enhance supplier relationship management (SRM) activities by defining performance expectations, conducting regular business reviews, and building effective long‑term partnerships.
  • Act as an escalation point for supplier performance issues, supporting root cause analysis and driving resolution in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct structured supplier performance reviews using KPIs, scorecards, and market intelligence to improve accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process and cost improvements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent systems to improve visibility and decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance of supplier documentation, including contracts, NDAs, Master Purchase Agreements, Statements of Work, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain adherence to internal procurement controls, approval processes, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and other functions to support business needs and ensure alignment of procurement activities.
  • Support the development and execution of category strategies, including analysis of total cost of ownership (TCO) and supplier market conditions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and systems, including use of ERP platforms such as SAP or JDEdwards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, ideally within indirect procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing supplier relationships and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with imperfect or incomplete data to build credible business cases.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or JDEdwards is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, category management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers at different levels.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
