Senior Quantity Surveyor – London Residential Projects

Location: City of London (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + Benefits

Lead the cost delivery on some of London’s most ambitious residential developments. This is a chance to join a growing consultancy team with a strong pipeline of high‑profile build‑to‑rent, student, high‑rise new build, and high‑end residential schemes across the capital.

The Opportunity

You’ll take charge of major projects from feasibility to final account – managing cost planning, procurement, and commercial performance for landmark developments. It’s a role for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working in a fast‑moving environment where quality, collaboration, and client trust are key.

You’ll be joining a team that’s expanding rapidly and investing in both people and systems. This is an excellent platform for an experienced QS who wants visibility, autonomy, and progression within a respected London cost consultancy.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead cost planning, estimating, procurement, and contract administration for large residential schemes.
  • Deliver valuations, variations, and monthly financial reports.
  • Manage commercial performance and maintain close communication with clients and project teams.
  • Identify risks early and resolve issues proactively.
  • Contribute to internal improvement, benchmarking, and proposal work.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven consultancy‑side Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (RICS‑accredited preferred).
  • MRICS chartership highly desirable (If not chartered must have solid consultancy side experience).
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and client‑facing skills.
  • Confident managing both pre‑ and post‑contract work.
