Branch Supervisor

Branch Supervisor – Arnold, Nottingham

Salary: £27,500 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with day‑to‑day operations.
• Supervise and support branch staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
• Serve customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
• Build rapport with customers & suppliers, respond to queries and process sales.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders.
• Work full‑time, permanent (40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday on a rota basis 08:00–12:00).

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous industry or merchant experience (preferable).
• Experience in a face‑to‑face customer service/sales environment.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers.
• Some warehouse knowledge.
• Team player able to take on diverse roles within the branch.
• Willingness to run the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Keenness to learn, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable lifting heavy items.
