Responsibilities

About the team: The Strategy & Analytics team for Global Commerce plays a core role in analyzing industry trends, setting business targets and reviewing business performance in the UK and Europe. This team is responsible for both quarterly and yearly and long‑term targets. It is a highly cross‑functional team, with exposure to a multitude of business teams and stakeholders. As a member of this team, you will focus on key metrics as well as deep‑drives and overall analysis of TikTok Shop EMEA.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short‑term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real‑world experience. You will gain practical skills through on‑the‑job learning in a fast‑paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

  • Work in a consultative manner with business teams, using data‑driven insights to provide them with recommendations, support business reviews and decision‑making.
  • Develop short‑term and long‑term plans for the scale and revenue targets of TikTok’s e‑commerce business in EMEA.
  • Track performance on a regular basis, identify issues and provide resolutions.
  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of commerce business, including traffic efficiency, user behaviour, merchant operation, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build short‑term and long‑term strategic plans and drive high‑impact projects.
  • Provide support for business growth through internal and external research and competitor benchmarking.
  • Analyse and draw conclusions from diverse data sets and understand how to brief and work with specialists to solve complicated problems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or above and available for at least 3 months.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and processing; SQL skills are a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with familiarity with industry research methods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting, strategy, or investment‑related experience.
