The Junior BAU Operations Analyst supports day‑to‑day operational processes related to regulatory reporting. This includes exception management, MI production, documentation, and UAT support. The role offers broad exposure and a strong foundation for a long‑term career in regulatory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily exception management across MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR, REMIT.
- Assist with investigating breaks and documenting root causes.
- Maintain and update BAU procedures, workflows, and training materials.
- Produce MI, KPIs, and trend analysis for management.
- Support UAT execution and documentation.
- Work with Technology, Compliance, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Monitor regulatory updates relevant to BAU workflows.
Skills & Experience
- Basic understanding of regulatory reporting is desirable.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
Technical Skills
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Exposure to front‑to‑back data flows and operational controls is a plus.
