At Ocado Logistics it’s our mission to change the waythe world shops for groceries and it all starts with our HGVdrivers. Using our state of the art fleet – some powered by naturalgas for specific routes and fitted with extra safety technology –our drivers take to the road to deliver and collect products to andfrom a variety of locations across theUK.
Our larger warehouses (which we call CFC’s – CustomerFulfilment centres) are cutting edge, and vast (our largest is573,000sq ft – that’s big enough to accommodate 7 Wembley footballpitches!) and our HGV Drivers play a crucial role collectingshopping and distributing it across our smaller regional warehousesites, for onward delivery to customers. We make a big point thatwe don’t offer multi drops so there’s no hiddenlanes!
Our HGV Drivers are our unsung heroes and whilst mostof us are sleeping they are distributing our products to ensureit’s there as and when we need it. Overnight, late in the day andor early in the morning – even on weekends. You have the option towork 32 hours over 4 days or 40 hours over 5 days. Our routes areassigned up to 12.5 hours per day and as such you will regularly beexpected to carry out additional hours as and whenneeded.

23:00 – 03:00

So what do we need fromyou?
Just bring yourself and a positive attitude (plus acategory C+E driving licence) and our amazing training team will dothe rest, although a minimum of 6 months driving experience isdesirable, this is not essential! You must be a safe and competentdriver and be flexible on your shift length on a dailybasis.

Pay Structure: This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthlyschedule. Please take this into consideration whenapplying.
Basic hourly rate:£18.48
Evening premium rate (18:00-06:00):£20.48
Sunday Premium rate:£20.22
Sunday Evening Premium rate (18:00-06:00):£22.42
Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift):£23.10
Overtime evening (18:00-06:00):£25.60
