Motiontech is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to support one of the UK’s most advanced automated logistics facilities. This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team maintaining cutting-edge material handling and automation systems.If you are a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in automated environments, conveyors, PLC-controlled systems, or high-speed logistics/FMCG sites, this role offers technical challenge, stability, and exposure to advanced automation technology.

This is a hands-on engineering role in a technically advanced automation environment.
What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a proactive, adaptable Maintenance Engineer with strong diagnostic capability and experience in automated or fast-paced production/logistics environments.
Essential Skills & Experience:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled EngineeringProven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in logistics, automation, FMCG, manufacturing or similarStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience working with:Conveyors and automated material handling systemsMotors, drives, gearboxes and pneumaticsPLC-controlled equipment (fault finding level)Experience using CMMS systemsFlexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)Strong commitment to safe working practices
