Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Armament Operator to support maintenance operations on Typhoon aircraft within a highly regulated military aviation environment.Working as part of a skilled team, you will carry out scheduled weapons maintenance activities, ensuring all work is completed in line with approved technical data, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role offers the chance to work on a world-class combat aircraft platform while developing your technical expertise in a dynamic operational setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out scheduled weapons maintenance on Typhoon aircraftPerform tasks including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and minor rectificationEnsure all work is completed to the required quality and airworthiness standardsWork in accordance with approved technical orders, publications, and quality systemsAccurately complete maintenance documentation, records, and formsMaintain valid authorisations for all tasks undertakenIdentify and report training needs or skill gaps to supervisionEnsure all mandatory training is completed and remains in dateSupport team operations and carry out additional duties as required by managementEssential Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an operational aircraft maintenance environmentExperience working on military or fast jet aircraft (Typhoon experience advantageous)Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and quality standardsAbility to work in accordance with technical documentation and regulatory requirementsGood attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityEffective communication and teamwork skillsQualificationsCompletion of a recognised aircraft engineering xcswzye apprenticeshipMinimum Level 2 qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical EngineeringEquivalent military qualifications will also be consideredWorking EnvironmentBased in Taif, Saudi ArabiaSunday–Thursday working pattern (48 hours per week)Working within a structured, safety-critical military aviation environmentOpportunity to work on a globally recognised fast jet platformSupportive team environment with opportunities for ongoing development and training
