We are seeking an experienced ACI Engineer to design, implement, and manage Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solutions. The successful engineer will work with cross-functional teams to build and optimize enterprise-grade data center networking environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in ACI architecture, policy management, and network automation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deploy ACI fabric architectures aligned with business and technical requirementsConfigure and manage ACI constructs including tenants, application profiles, EPGs, contracts, and policiesImplement network segmentation and security policies using ACI microsegmentation capabilitiesDevelop and maintain documentation for ACI topologies, policies, and configurationsPerform troubleshooting and health checks on ACI fabrics using diagnostic tools and CLI commandsMonitor ACI fabric performance and optimize configurations for availability and efficiencyCollaborate with storage, compute, and application teams to integrate ACI with broader infrastructureRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in network engineering or data center infrastructure3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco ACI design, deployment, and operationsStrong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, BGP) and data center networkingProficiency with Cisco ACI Management Information Tree (MIT) and policy model conceptsExperience with ACI configuration and monitoring tools (APIC, Cisco ACI simulator)Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, REST APIs preferred)Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack) and container technologiesExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on complex problemsPreferred QualificationsCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification xcswzye Cisco ACI Specialist certificationExperience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud networking integrationHands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platformsKnowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements (NIST, PCI-DSS)Experience with IT service management tools and change management processesTechnical SkillsCisco ACI (APIC, fabric, leaf/spine architecture)Network switches and routing platformsPython, Bash, or other scripting languagesMonitoring and analytics platforms (Tetration, Nexus Insights)Network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, traceroute, packet analysis )Networking People (UK) is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy….
