Nigel Wright is delighted to be partnering with a large, complex organisation in their search for an interim Head of Credit. The organisation we’re representing are currently undergoing a significant period of change and transformation across the existing shared service centre function.
Specific details of the role include:
- Delivering a fundamental reset of credit processes, controls, systems, KPIs and performance
- Lead a medium / large team taking full ownership of collections, credit risk and customer dispute resolution
- Drive improvement across all aspects of the function, embedding clarity on “what good looks like” in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Challenge and enhance existing processes, systems, controls and team capability
- Lead, develop and improve a long-standing team through change, overcoming resistance to automation and new ways of working
- Partner closely with SSC finance, operations and sales teams to drive end-to-end performance improvement
- Play a key role in delivering automation, efficiency and best-in-class credit operations
Candidates wishing to apply for this role will have:
- Proven experience in a Head of Credit or senior credit leadership role
- Strong background within a Shared Services Centre environment
- Experience operating in high-volume transactional businesses
- Track record of delivering transformation, performance improvements and process optimisation
- Demonstrable success improving teams, controls, systems and processes
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Available to start within 1 month and commit to the full 12-month contract
- Commit to a hybrid working (3 days in office / 2 from home) with flexibility around working hours
