Private Client team in Bristol is seeking to recruit a contentious Trusts & Probate Solicitor or Barrister of 0 to 1 year’s PQE/Call. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a strong contentious Trusts & Probate team.
Responsibilities
- will validity challenges
- removal of executors
- proprietary estoppel and 1975 Act claims
- trust disputes involving family dynamics and offshore structures.
You will also collaborate closely with the non-contentious team, particularly in estates where an estate administration has revealed a live dispute and where litigation and estate administration work hand-in-hand. You can expect to be fully supported in developing your technical skills, client management, and strategic approach to litigation.
Requirements
- have a strong interest in private client law and in particular, contentious trusts and probate work and a natural appetite for resolving disputes;
- have completed at least one seat in contentious trusts and probate.
You’ll be methodical, resilient, and comfortable navigating sensitive and often emotionally charged matters. Excellent drafting and analytical skills are key, along with a genuine desire to be part of a supportive and high-performing team.
