Position Overview

Community Support Worker (Days) – 30 hours per week (4 days Mon‑Fri).Salary: £25,949 – £25,989 per annum (full‑time equivalent, pro‑rata for part‑time).Permanent, part‑time position. International sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Assist people with disabilities to learn new skills and participate in a range of in‑house activities.
  • Support patients in the day service and on occasional trips out and about in the community.
  • Provide ongoing care and assistance tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Engage with staff and volunteers to promote a positive, caring environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of day service activities.

Qualifications

  • Warm, compassionate, and patient nature.
  • Friendly and upbeat attitude; ability to work well in a team.
  • Previous experience in health and social care is not essential but can be an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
