Responsibilities

  • Providing attentive overnight support within the annex setting
  • Maintaining a calm, safe and nurturing environment
  • Supporting routines and responding to individual needs
  • Preparing and organising for the following day
  • Planning activities and creating engaging ideas for daytime support
  • Ensuring the annex remains clean, organised and “sparkly” for the child
  • Accurate record keeping and handovers
  • Working collaboratively alongside another member of staff at all times
  • Promoting safeguarding, structure and positive experiences

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people
  • Calm, patient and emotionally resilient
  • Proactive and able to stay motivated throughout wake nights
  • Organised and able to maintain high standards within the home
  • Confident working within a team environment
  • Experienced within children’s residential care, support work or complex needs support (preferred but not essential depending on transferable skills)

What We Offer

  • Fixed term contracts with potential for extension or permanent opportunities
  • Supportive management and experienced team environment
  • Meaningful work where you can genuinely make a difference
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Consistent shifts and stability
  • The opportunity to be part of a child-centred and therapeutic environment
