The Role
As part of the Vaccination Transformation Programme in Scotland, we have established five teams across NHSGC to deliver Childhood immunisations. Health Care Support Workers are required to ensure the smooth running of the community clinics, maintain cold chain procedures, order all stocks and sundries, and communicate regularly with parents and carers. Health Care Support Workers contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of immunisations to children in all areas of the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board. Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Healthcare Support Worker within the Pre‑school/Childhood Immunisation Team and play a vital role in protecting the health and well‑being of children and families across the community. Working within one of the UK’s largest NHS organisations, you will be part of a dedicated and supportive team delivering accessible, safe and person‑centred care. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to vital public health programmes while developing your skills in a dynamic community setting. You will support immunisation clinics, engage with families and help promote positive health outcomes from an early age.
