Community Support Worker – Fylde & Wyre Short Breaks Service, Lancashire County Council

Job Description: Salary £25,185-£25,989 per annum (full‑time equivalent) for a permanent part‑time contract of 20 hours per week. Senior hours for weekends and sleep‑in duties.

International Sponsorship: This role is not open to international sponsorship.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting adults with learning disabilities to access community activities, short breaks, and social opportunities.
  • Providing person‑centred support that promotes choice, independence, dignity, and safety.
  • Assisting individuals with daily living tasks where required.
  • Supporting people to build relationships, life skills, confidence, and community participation.
  • Working as part of a caring and professional team to deliver high‑quality short break experiences.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to support plans in line with Lancashire County Council policies.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
