We are looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our team based at our Aberdeen office.
The Business Support Coordinator role plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative, financial, HR, and customer service functions. This role supports internal teams and external stakeholders by managing data, coordinating projects, and maintaining compliance with organisational policies.
Hours
Full-time Monday – Thursday; 8.00 am – 5.00 pm, Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm with one-hour lunch break.

Main Duties
Main responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
- Identifying documentation requirements
- Submitting documentation to the relevant clients within prescribed timescales
- Providing general administrative support
- Liaising with manufacturers, suppliers and client project staff to ensure all material meets technical and quality requirements and delivery timescales.
- Undertaking material inspections with client-appointed representatives.
- Managing the project logistics role and ensuring all goods are correctly exported, packed and prepared.
- Preparing and submitting all export-related documentation to ship goods from global manufacturing sites to nominated destinations.
- Providing support on other functions as required by the management team.
- Using R&M’s company IT system and any partner systems associated with Projects.
- Preparing and submitting reports as needed or requested by the client and for Joint Venture partners.
- Creation and maintenance of client / project expediting schedules.
- To chase the purchase orders raised to ensure that the orders are delivered in time to meet the customer’s required date. If there is an issue, then advise the customer as soon as aware of the issue.
Other Duties
Undertaking any other duties that are within the skill and capability of the individual as directed by the manager or other designated supervisors.
All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Group’s Health & Safety and Quality Control systems.
Previous experience in a similar role within a similar-sized commercial organisation is essential.
Training: Training will be delivered primarily through on-the-job learning, allowing employees to develop their skills in a real-work environment with hands-on guidance and support.
