Job Description:

Overview

We require skilled individuals to provide clerical support to a busy immunisation department in Falkirk Community Hospital as part of the Women and Children’s Directorate. A good working knowledge of word processing and Microsoft Office, together with general administrative skills.

Duties

Responsibilities include reception duties, filing, photocopying, data entry, retrieving information via computerised systems, and liaising with other departments by telephone and face‑to‑face.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, approachable disposition, and teamwork.
  • Good knowledge of word processing and Microsoft Office.

Training

Training and support will be given to the successful applicants.

Disclosure

The duties of this post require completion of a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

Hours & Pay

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
