Chemical Manufacturing operative with FLT

Wythenshawe, England – Producers of plastic and adhesive products are looking for two Chemical Process Operatives with FLT Counterbalance licences. This role is temporary with the possibility of permanent placement and involves operating within a chemical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate safely within a chemical manufacturing environment, adhering to strict safety procedures.
• Safely move raw materials and finished goods using an FLT Counterbalance.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Support production both on and off the truck.
• Carry out general housekeeping and maintain high safety standards.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting duties.

Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Previous manufacturing experience – essential.
• Experience in a chemical or process environment – highly desirable.
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

• £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.05 after 12 weeks.
