Job Description:

KierBAM, a joint venture between Kier and BAM UK & Ireland, is delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth, and we are seeking an experienced Logistics Administrator.

Due to the site being a high-security military naval base, additional security checks will be required – a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary. These checks can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.

Your team

  • Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth
  • Contract: Permanent, 42.5 hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration and ongoing maintenance of the project’s Datascope platform, including validating and approving supplier information, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining up-to-date records to support compliance and operational readiness.
  • Update and manage client lookahead schedules, coordinating with internal teams to gather progress updates, identify upcoming requirements, and ensure stakeholders had clear, timely visibility of project milestones.
  • Administer driver documentation and access passes, maintaining accurate logs, processing new requests, and ensuring all personnel met site-access and compliance standards.
  • Organise and maintain structured filing systems within ProjectWise, ensuring documentation is uploaded, categorized, and controlled in line with project protocols and audit requirements.
  • Manage shared team email inboxes, triage incoming correspondence, categorize messages for efficient workflow, and distribute actions to the appropriate team members to maintain smooth communication across the project.
