Overview
We are working with numerous schools across Preston, Chorley, Leyland and surrounding areas. There is a high demand for level 2 or 3 teaching assistants in various roles (general class TA, 1:1 TA, SEN TA, intervention group TA). We can find a role you desire.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the class teacher and other support staff
- Provide constructive feedback regarding pupil progress
- Assist in making the work accessible for all learners
- Provide a safe, engaging and enjoyable work environment for all pupils
- Work as part of a team and independently when required
- Use a variety of resources according to the teachers’ plans
- Be flexible and ready to switch roles within the classroom as needed
- Show passion for working with young people and deliver the best educational experience possible
- Build relationships quickly with pupils while setting clear boundaries
- Follow and implement the school’s behaviour policies
Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Willingness to attend a registration interview
- Ability to provide or obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Professional references (if applicable)
- Overseas police clearance where required
