Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint two full‑time Supported Internship Job Coaches. The role supports students with additional needs in internship placements, providing individualized support to develop skills, confidence and independence for paid employment. The role involves working off‑site alongside students in the workplace.
Responsibilities
Provide fading support to help supported interns with additional needs develop skills, confidence and independence for paid employment. Conduct risk assessments, offer job coaching and liaise with employers to ensure successful placement and progression.
Qualifications
GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) and a relevant Level 3 qualification. Experience working with people with learning disabilities, risk assessments, job coaching and successfully dealing with employers. Ability to communicate effectively, show empathy and understanding, and promote and work towards independence amongst the user group.
Compensation
Up to £26,787 FTE, TTO salary up to £23,098. Fixed‑term contract until July 2027.
