Class 1 HGV Driver – 4o4o Nights

About The Role

You’ll be working 4 on 4 off nights with fridge trailers, transporting fresh fish and frozen food for supermarket distribution.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 vehicles on regional and national routes
• Shunting trailers around our site
• Handling chilled and frozen goods, monitoring fridge temperatures
• Performing daily walk‑around checks and reporting any issues
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Following all road transport and tachograph regulations
• Ensuring loads are secure and handled safely

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 licence
• Valid Driver CPC and tachograph card
• Experience with fridge work is a bonus but not essential; training can be provided
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety in everything you do
