LGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a motivated and experienced LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in driving.

Duties

• Safely operate a Class 2 commercial vehicle, curtainsided with tail lift.
• Load and unload freight using electric pallet truck.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Deliver goods accurately to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving.
• Valid LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures using pallet trucks or other handling equipment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and cargo securement.
