Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has been created within our Youth Support Service to provide open access support to young people of Bridgend.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the facilitation of a needs-led provision that meets the needs of young people in line with the five aims identified in the Youth Work Strategy for Wales. The post holder will be expected to work in a variety of settings, including street-based services as required.
Additional duties will include greeting customers in Welsh, protecting children, young people or adults at risk, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
Full and valid driving licence.
Experience working with children and young people is desirable.
Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check with Children Barred List.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and on street-based settings.
