About the Role
Learning and development are important to us. Therefore, as the successful candidate, you will benefit from an initial training programme. During this time, you will work closely with our Learning and Development team, who will provide full product training covering the systems we use and the Fred. Olsen products.
Qualifications
- Personable with excellent communication skills and a polite, engaging telephone manner.
- Able to build positive relationships with our customers.
- Educated to GCSE-level or equivalent, with a C or 4 in Maths and English.
- Computer literate and able to pick up new systems quickly.
- Passionate to work in the travel industry and learn our destinations.
- Highly organised and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines.
- Sales or customer service experience is beneficial.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Deal with customer enquiries and reservations in a polite and professional manner.
- Build and maintain your own knowledge library on rates, prices and terms of business.
- Effectively promote all relevant Fred. Olsen products to customers.
- Confirm bookings and upsell all relevant products.
- Selling the Fred. Olsen products and brand to customers.
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday and every other Saturday. A day off during the week will be rewarded when a Saturday is worked.
