Test Technician | Banbury, Oxfordshire – £30,000 starting salary includes a 21% shift premium (afternoons).
Overview
We’re recruiting a Test Technician to join a specialist materials testing facility in Banbury. This is a structured, technical environment where products are pushed to their limits to ensure they meet strict safety standards across industries such as aerospace, energy and engineering. Through structured training you will progress from fundamentals to advanced technical testing methods over time.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run mechanical tests on materials and components.
- Carry out tensile, compression and fatigue testing using specialist equipment.
- Accurately record results for certification and reporting purposes.
- Follow strict processes where attention to detail is critical.
- Work in a reactive environment where priorities can shift day to day.
- Continuously develop your technical skills through structured training.
