Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Onsite – Newark, Nottinghamshire

£30,000-£35,000 per year + up to £15,000 KPI based bonus

Permanent, Full‑Time

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing technology sales team based in Newark for my client who are a leading UK based provider of secure cloud, connectivity, and managed IT services. This is a fully office based role and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick start or accelerate their career within the technology sector.

As an SDR, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities, while building a strong sales pipeline for the wider sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Strategic Research: Identify target accounts and key decision makers across relevant industries
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria to ensure high quality opportunities
  • Meeting Setting: Book high quality sales meetings for Account Executives
  • CRM Management: Accurately log all sales activity and pipeline progress within the CRM system
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, messaging, and follow‑up activity
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the company’s solutions and the wider technology landscape

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in sales, telesales, or customer‑facing roles is advantageous
  • Confident verbal and written communication with a professional telephone manner
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and target‑driven
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping
  • High levels of motivation, resilience, and drive
