Personal Injury Solicitor / Legal Executive – Nottingham – £35,000 to £60,000

The role

  • Managing a caseload of EL/PL claims from instruction through to settlement, including both Portal and non‑Portal matters
  • Handling predominantly fast‑track litigated cases, with exposure to multi‑track work
  • Running files with a good level of autonomy while having support available when needed
  • Drafting your own correspondence and legal documents
  • Providing clear, practical advice to clients and delivering solutions‑focused outcomes
  • Working to fee earning and time recording targets in a structured environment
  • Using a case management system to progress matters efficiently
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues across the firm
  • Supporting business development activity and identifying opportunities to bring in new work

You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights and 3+ years PQE
  • Strong experience handling EL/PL claims from start to finish, including litigated matters
  • Solid understanding of the relevant Pre‑Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules and the Damages Claims Portal
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to meet financial and performance targets
  • Excellent communicator with strong client care skills
  • Proactive, organised and confident managing multiple priorities
  • A team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress your career
