Warehouse Operative
Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our night team in Scunthorpe to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the warehouse goods. The role requires completing various warehouse tasks as safely, accurately and efficiently as possible while upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Additional duties support the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.
A Flexi or Reach Truck Licence and experience is required for this role

- Salary: £30,678.98
- Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday Evenings
- Hours: 18:00-02:00
- 42 hours per week
- Full‑time, permanent

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)
- Co‑operate fully with site safety requirements.
- Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse, check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork.
- Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn‑around targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork; both full pallet and manual case/break picked from racking and ground locations.
- Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner.
- Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
- Manual handling of products.
- Sign for and accept responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
- Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
- Stock integrity and quality checks.
- Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.
Key Experience and Qualifications
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- A professional manner.
- Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
- MHE – Flexi or Reach Truck Licence and experience is essential.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
