Working at Tesco will involve the following availability windows: Thursday 22:00‑07:00, Friday 22:00‑07:00, Saturday 22:00‑07:00. You will be scheduled within these windows and receive 3 weeks’ notice of exact shift times. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with a minimum of 12 hours for those who prefer fewer hours.

Rate of pay starts at £13.28 per hour and increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride.
  • Being knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
  • Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  • Using training to work safely, effectively, and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
  • Taking part in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Being knowledgeable about the store’s performance and helping to drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.

  • Accepting store deliveries when required.
