Job Overview
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Receptionist at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Join a warm and welcoming team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide excellent service from the moment they arrive.
- Craft personalised experiences for guests, making them feel at home, relaxed and valued.
- Work closely with the Front Office team to deliver consistent and outstanding service.
- Manage front‑desk operations, including reservations, check‑in/check‑out, and guest enquiries.
- Support booking and update systems, including Opera, and Microsoft Office.
- Handle cash, card payments and deposit withdrawals.
- Assist with front‑office administrative tasks and maintain cleanliness.
- Participate in rotation for weekend and weekday shifts (35 hours per week, may vary).
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Receptionist in a luxury four‑ or five‑star hotel.
- Strong computer skills and confidence navigating reservation systems and Microsoft Office (Opera experience highly desirable).
- Excellent communication, service orientation and team‑working ability.
- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
