About the Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Casual Cleaning Operative to carry out cleaning duties at Lancaster & Morecambe Short Breaks Service. A flexible approach to work is required, as the successful candidate will cover sickness, holidays, or support additional service demands. Providing your own transport is an advantage but not essential.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning duties including damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and toilet cleaning.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness for prestigious and iconic buildings serving the community and vulnerable people.
- Cover sickness and holiday absences, and provide support to meet additional service demands.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or a related role is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to variable hours during the week.
