State Street’s Alpha Transaction Management team is seeking a versatile individual with strong business systems and data analysis skills for development and support of services and product offerings focused on Transaction Management. In the Alpha Client (ETN) Blotter Implementation role, the incumbent is responsible for client onboarding onto the State Street test and Production environments, and performs a myriad of duties to facilitate and support Alpha onboarding projects. These duties include obtaining an inventory of all client legacy blotters, review and understand business requirements for each blotter and work with a team of analysts/developers to translate business requirements to technical requirements in the form of a State Street specification document for client approval. All jointly agreed business and technical requirements should align with operating models that have been agreed in the Transaction Management space, ensuring all data and functionality is in line with the agreed Operating Model. The role also requires the incumbent to have general, but not SME, knowledge for all Transaction Management services like trade validation, trade confirmation and trade settlement. This knowledge is required for trade data analysis and enrichment throughout the trade lifecycle with in GTM, the standard State Street Global Trade Monitor. This person must possess skill in complex business data analysis with expertise in functional requirements gathering and documentation; excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; a proven ability to liaise between business/implementation, project, client and technology teams; and strong collaboration skills.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Work with PMO and project manager resources to create a project plan for (ETN) blotter implementation that is integrated within the larger Transaction Management plan.
- Host joint sessions with client counterparts to define an inventory of in‑scope blotters and finalize business requirements for each blotter.
- Management of a team of analysts to internally transcribe client business requirements to internal technical requirements in the form of specification documents.
- Assist analysts with complex data analysis, solution design, troubleshooting design flaws, and gaps with legacy models.
- Own, and drive forward, workstream delivery from analysis to development to testing and conversion to live.
- Present progress updates as the face of the workstream on internal and joint workstream calls. Work with project management to ensure all internal and joint tracking updates are current week over week.
Post‑implementation Responsibilities
- Oversight for a team of offshore analysts as they work to define requirements with the client via the Change Management process.
- Assist off‑shore analysts with complex data analysis, solution design, troubleshooting design flaws, and gaps with legacy models.
- Support of BAU stakeholders for recipient‑driven production issues and/or questions via the offshore team.
Leads are encouraged to identify and drive process improvements that will deliver results while reducing cost and/or time to market for existing procedures.
What We Value
- Strong knowledge of general business requirements for client blotter reporting.
- A working knowledge of Listed and Unlisted products and Transaction Management Middle Office services.
- Strong understanding and prior experience with industry Middle Office process and procedure. Experience with Transaction Management lifecycle operations and vendor applications, is highly desirable and valuable.
- Strong communication, analytical, project management and problem solving skills. Effective collaboration with middle office clients and third parties on blotter requirements is essential.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize work accordingly.
- A proven history of understanding and analyzing complex client use cases, targeted data sets, and ability to analyze and create specifications based on client business requirements. Understanding upstream data inputs and their impact of client blotter requirements is critical.
- Strong analytical, reconcilement and organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization – able to independently troubleshoot and gather supporting evidence.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 5 – 8 years of industry experience with Middle Office functionality, analytics and applications.
- BS degree in Finance or similar related topics.
- Competency in MS Office including MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access.
- Knowledge of Electronic trading platforms including Chares River, BBG, Thinkfolio and other TOMS.
Additional Requirements
- Potential to travel to alternate sites for specific projects may be required, but fairly limited.
