Salary

NHS Scotland Consultant Pay Scale £111,430 – £148,064 plus option to continue NHS Scotland Pension.

Contract

Permanent, Full Time, 10PA (inclusive of 2PA for on‑call commitment)

Responsibilities

• Provide senior medical delivery of palliative care to infants, children and young people with life‑limiting and life‑threatening conditions within the children’s hospices, hospital and community settings.
• Act as a member of both CHAS services, covering the national on‑call service and providing onsite care at NHS Lothian and Rachel House Children’s Hospice.
• Contribute to the strategic development of paediatric palliative care across Scotland, including delivery of education, training and research.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the GMC, hold a licence to practice and be on the specialist register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent.
