Clerical Officer / Receptionist
The post is for a Clerical Officer/Receptionist within the Business Support Team in the North West Locality. The role involves providing administrative and reception support across North West Health Centres and acting as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. You will play a key part in ensuring effective communication and supporting the smooth running of services within the Health Centre.
Band 2 roles are not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes. All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
- Permanent, part‑time
- Shift pattern: Between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday
- Location: North West Health Centres within the North West Locality
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting main reception services
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff
- Contributing to smooth service delivery and effective communication
- Carrying out a range of administrative duties as outlined in the Job Description
- Working under the direction of the Senior Business Support Assistant and the wider team
Qualifications
- Strong communication
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
