We are recruiting for Train Managers to join CrossCountry at Leeds.

CrossCountry trains travel up to 125 mph, transporting people across the UK.
Responsibilities
Train Managers are the face of CrossCountry, ensuring every journey is a great one for customers. Responsibilities include checking and selling tickets on board, advising customers about their journey, and being aware of their individual needs.
You will manage unexpected challenges, keep the train environment comfortable by fixing and reporting defective equipment, and managing luggage issues.
You will work as a team with onboard colleagues to ensure customers have a memorable experience. Safety is vitally important; you will be trained on all procedures, rules and regulations, and prepared to take the lead in critical situations.
Qualifications
You must live within a one‑hour commute of Leeds and be able to work unsocial hours reliably, including shifts and weekends.
Because this is a safety critical role, applicants must undergo a safety critical medical and a DBS check.
Benefits and Working Conditions
You will receive free unlimited train travel on CrossCountry services, discounted travel on other train companies, entry into a pension scheme, a free uniform, excellent holiday entitlement, and a salary of £35,371 per annum during training, rising to £41,292 per annum upon completion of training.
Average hours are 35 per week. An initial 10‑week training course will be conducted at the Customer Service Training Centre in Derby.
This is not a 9‑to‑5 role; shifts include unsocial hours and weekends, but you will get time off during the week.
