Following the recent hire of a Lead Developer, they’re continuing to build out their in‑house engineering team and are now looking for a Mid‑Level Software Engineer to support the next phase of platform growth and modernisation.

The What?
You’ll be working on a high‑volume application platform primarily built in Laravel, contributing to new feature development, platform improvements, APIs, integrations, and ongoing modernisation work.
This is a hands‑on engineering role where you’ll work closely with the Technical Lead and wider team to improve scalability, reliability, and overall platform quality.
Key Things You’ll Be Doing
- Developing features across a Laravel-based platform
- Working on APIs, integrations, and backend services
- Supporting improvements to performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborating with the Technical Lead, external developers, and stakeholders
- Contributing to code quality improvements and platform modernisation
- Troubleshooting issues and supporting production stability
What You’ll Bring
- Commercial experience with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL
- Experience building APIs and backend systems
- Understanding of modern development practices
- Exposure to AWS or cloud‑hosted environments
