About the role
A well‑established Acumatica Cloud ERP partner with a growing UK footprint is hiring a Pre‑Sales / Solution Architect to lead discovery, solution design and tailored product demonstrations for mid‑market prospects across distribution, manufacturing and professional services. You will be the technical face of the practice during the sales cycle — translating prospect requirements into credible, deliverable Acumatica solutions and shaping the proposal, scope and statement of work alongside the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
You will own end‑to‑end pre‑sales engagements: running discovery workshops, mapping current‑state processes, designing solution blueprints across Financials, Distribution, Project Accounting and (where relevant) Manufacturing Edition, configuring tailored demo environments, presenting to C‑suite and finance stakeholders, scoping integrations with CRM and eCommerce platforms, and working closely with delivery to ensure a clean handover into implementation. You will also support proposal writing, effort estimation and RFP responses, and act as a trusted adviser for prospective customers evaluating Acumatica against competing cloud ERPs.
What We’re Looking For
We want a candidate with strong hands‑on Acumatica experience (xRP framework awareness a plus), a track record in pre‑sales or senior consulting for cloud ERP, and the confidence to lead the technical conversation in front of finance directors, COOs and IT leadership. You should be comfortable building bespoke demo data, articulating ROI and TCO arguments, and explaining integration patterns (REST/OData, Acumatica web services, common iPaaS tooling). Experience of competitor positioning against NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable. Excellent presentation, written communication and stakeholder‑management skills are essential, along with the ability to flex between commercial selling and deep technical discussion.
