Responsibilities

• Driving Linode opportunities forward by owning the technical sales cycle.
• Owning customer success and support account growth.
• Collaborating closely with sales, product teams, services, and partners.
• Leading innovation in solutions and products, identifying and promoting trends, and influencing the global product roadmap.
• Building technical expertise and thought‑leadership in Akamai Cloud/Linode to support Akamai’s overall business growth.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive professional customer‑facing experience in technical roles with cloud‑related organizations.
• Demonstrate successful experience in architecting IaaS solutions for customers.
• Hold professional certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
• Demonstrate hands‑on expertise in 3 more domains across Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming or media‑streaming tech stacks.
• Demonstrate experience and hands‑on skills in open‑source software like Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform.
• Communicate complex technical content effectively through writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse technical and business audiences.
