Graduate Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Orpington
Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 basic + company car, international travel, specialist training, rapid progression. Immediate start.
This is a well‑established and rapidly growing engineering company specialising in industrial and energy‑related solutions across the UK. As a Graduate Technical Sales Engineer you will join a dynamic sales team working on sales, maintenance agreements, equipment supply contracts, and installation projects across multiple sectors. You will be given the tools, support, and autonomy to develop into a successful technical sales professional.
Responsibilities:
- Produce quotations, proposals, and consultancy audits for clients.
- Support equipment sales, maintenance contracts, and smaller works projects.
- Build and develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Deliver presentations and pitches to potential clients.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal business units.
- Update sales data and support wider business development activities.
- Travel internationally on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- Degree‑qualified (engineering or technical degree preferred; all degrees considered).
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Interest in engineering, industrial technology, or energy efficiency.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Self‑motivated with a strong desire to build a successful sales career.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel.
